Rev. Sereine Nterinanziza
A Woman Pastor Called to Church Planting
Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Candidate – Berkeley School of Theology, USA

Rev. Sereine Nterinanziza is a Rwandan pastor, author, church planter, gospel journalist, educator, and social entrepreneur. She was ordained in 2023 by NextGen Church in New Jersey, USA.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) at Berkeley School of Theology in California, USA. Her academic qualifications include a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from World Mission Frontiers (UWMF), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kampala International University (KIU), a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Rwanda, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and Leadership from the African College of Theology (ACT).

Rev. Sereine began her church planting journey in 2018, founding a church under the covering of NEBO Church, which was later closed by the Government of Rwanda. In 2023, she launched NextGen Church of Rwanda, which was also shut down due to similar regulatory challenges. Despite these setbacks, she continues to pursue her calling to raise and equip the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.

She is also the founder of Happy Kids Nursery and Primary School Ltd, a renowned Christian bilingual school established in 2018 in Kicukiro District, Kigali City, now serving over 500 students with excellence in both academics and Christian values.

Rev. Sereine is a published author and the initiator of “Daily Devotional Healing Verses“- “IJAMBO RIKIZA”, a powerful daily devotional series in Kinyarwanda and English that shares healing scriptures and spiritual encouragement through social media. Rev. Sereine is also a published scholar, contributing articles to Google Scholar on topics related to theology, leadership, and social transformation—blending academic rigor with her deep ministry experience.

She is also an accredited gospel journalist, leading the Christian media platform http://www.ibiganzabyimpuhwe.com, which is officially recognized by the Rwanda Media Commission. Through this platform, she publishes faith-based news, testimonies, devotional content, and inspirational stories that uplift, educate, and evangelize.
In addition, Rev. Sereine is the founder and content creator of IMPUHWE TV—an educational gospel YouTube channel dedicated to producing high-quality evangelical videos. IMPUHWE TV shares teachings, devotionals, praise and worship, testimonies, and spiritual insights designed to reach and impact a digital generation with the Gospel of Christ. The channel is a growing media hub for Christian education, encouragement, and digital discipleship across Rwanda and beyond.

She is the Founder and Executive Director of Hands of Compassion Rwanda (HACORWA), formerly Ibiganzabyimpuhwe, a non-profit organization accredited by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). HACORWA is devoted to community transformation through compassion-based outreach, education, and family support.

Since 2016, Rev. Sereine has successfully managed her own businesses and previously worked with various international organizations as a Capacity Building Officer. Her interests include gospel music, water sports, family time, youth mentorship, family therapy, and education. She also provides consultancy in business management and entrepreneurship, especially in faith-based and social enterprise contexts.
